2) What objectives for participants did you support at a conference with technology and how?
- .Blogs. Used to encourage attendee and non attendee engagement
- .CD Roms of presentations for attendees to take away
- .Community building software (e.g Sharepoint). Used both pre and post conference to agree agenda and measure outcomes
- .Webchat software
- .Online registration, accommodation booking and online payment of services
- .Discussing original ideas with a kind of blog and having final outcomes; decisions such as next congress destination are taken during this discusssion.
- .Powerpoint presentations are being uploaded with sound so as people that did not manage to attend can see-read and hear the presentation for the next 3 months.

- .Can't talk at them have to talk with them
- .Use You Tube - use technology they understand and relate to and use
- .Ask them to show you, interact and communicate with them
- .Short attention span, need to keep them moving
- .Speak in their language, even if it's not proper grammar

- .Use imaginative ideas to get the message across to them - images and pictures instead of words

- Online Discussion Forums for conference commmittees, never used
